The Abbott Case was heard in Ottawa at the Federal Court level. Any decision rendered in the Abbott Case is binding on the government/FNI and it will affect all applicants under the points system. There were no surprises presented by the FNI/DOJ in their submissions. The main arguments centered on procedural fairness and was the Appeal Master’s decision reasonable.
